After studying photography at Blackpool, Simon lost no time before he was undertaking commissions for many top advertising agencies.
He has ventured to some of the furthest corners of the world in search of striking imagery for prestigious clients worldwide, whilst his personal projects have included documenting the landscapes and people of Chile, Tibet, Mount Everest, the Arctic Circle & the Northern Territories of Australia.
Simon is also an established commercials director and started his career with a short film called ‘El Apprentice’ which was shot in Chile and was shown at the LA Short Film Festival. He has directed commercials for the Discovery Channel, Mercedes, Toyota, Volvo, Wild Aid and most recently Norfolk Southern Railway, which was shown twice during the State of the Union address in 2011.
Simon lives in London with his wife and 4 children.

Simon has been a consistent award winner at the AOP Awards in London, including winning Best Commissioned Advertising Single Image in 2015 and his work for BMW was included in the D&AD Annual. He has won awards for his photography in the Art Directors Club of New York and the IPA Awards. He has been included in the Lurzers Archive 200 Best Advertising Photographers World Wide Book many times. His film about the Acapulco Cliff Divers for the Discovery Channel won Best Cinematography Award at the Communications Arts Competition. His short film ‘El Apprentice” was selected to be shown at the LA Short Film Festival.
